My zanussi aquasave DWS - 939 dishwasher will not fill with water. The water supply is switched on and is okay the machine makes a noise but no water gets in

there is a lockout on the inlet valve.you need to remove valve from the appliance and disconnect the smallest hose that attaches to inlet valve and blow down it.reconnect and retry.if it goes again in a short period of time you have a blockage somewhere in the ststem
