My fan seems to be wired in series with the main bathroom light. The bulb on this blew and the fan now does not work. Is there a reset for this fan or do I need to replace it?
I have wired according to instructions and the power is going through the unit but nothing is happening.

This has happened to me more than once. The bulb blow out blew the fuse linked to the light and the fan. Replacement fuse (13amp) meant lights and fan worked again. But the fan has since pegged out of its own accord ~ I'm on my third in 7 years ~ they aren't made to last and it's not as if the thing is on all that much.
