Mend Hotpoint WMS38 Washing Machine Drain Program

the door lock keeps flashing?

on my hotpoint aquarius wms38 stopped working during a wash we tried to drain and spin the washing that was in it but it won't do any thing,the door lock light is flashing after about 45 seconds of starting the spin program

The door shouldn't unlock until the water is gone. You can drain it by lowering the waste hose below the drum. Don't forget the bowl!
