my washing machine wont spin or drain?

After disconnecting the electricity by removing plut from wall socket, try and find the filter which is normally in a rubber hose under the drum. remove the filter(be ready with a bucket & a mop to catch small amount of H2o) clean it and replace using the reverse method of taking it out.

Don't know your model number but try this, if your machine has a small square flap on lower front panel filter will be behind there if no flap, filter is hidden inside the sump drain pipe (The large black one with the big clip)that comes from the bottom of the outer drum. Drain machine manually, lower drain pipe into bowl lower to ground (Gravity) When machine empty clean out pump housing and sump filter make sure impeller is free to turn reassemble parts
