My York DVD player won't turn on?

Today I went to put a DVD in the DVD player and it won't turn on. It is plugged in and there is power. HELP! It is home theatre system model DV75000YX

First eliminate the fuse. That's what I've just done. Be careful to put back the cable grips, and replace with a one of the same amperage.
