Glowworm ultimate 50FF tripping?

if your pump is faulty , as they do loose power over time , then it trips

turn the speed up to 3 on the pump , see if it helps or get a new one £35 from screwfix

In what way is it tripping off?? is it tripping the mains?? or is the little red over heat button at the bottom popping??

if the system is sludged your not likelly to remove it just by draining the system, adding a chemical then draining it, a powerflush will remove most of the muck from the system but will cost a substantial ammount to have done, what also may be req'd is a repipe in the airing cupboard depending on how caked the pipework is! an good test to see how bad the system is sludged is get a strong ish magnet and check the pipes above and below the pump and see if you get any pulling on the magnet, if you can feel it theres muck in there!
