the late modle victa engines are very easy to rebuild there are two types of crank pins one with two flat sides and one with four pin holes ,you need a tool to remove and a rattle gun but i have removed them before with a punch, they are all right hand thread. if you leave the head on and put some rope in the spark plug hole that will stop the piston from moving while you hit the crank pin note;when you put it back together the pins on the piston for the ring location faces toward the inlet.there are two main bearings the bottom one having a seal if you are replacing them you need a press, but you need the disc boss of first put a hammer on one side of the boss and hit the other side with a hammer that will shock the boss off the flywheel, best of luck jason. w.
