AEG 5040 dishwasher Not rinsing properly?

AEG 5040 dishwasher, about 4 years old, doesn't rinse properly, it leaves a residue on everything. Changed salt, changed rinse-aid - any ideas please?

Had the same problem , use a dishwasher cleaning treatment. Its a bottle you put upside down in the cuttlery basket.

Hi Nick,
I've got a 5040 too. Have you tried:
a) stacking dishes differently (perhaps you are overfilling the machine?)
b) using different tablets. I had very poor results similar to yours from some Tesco branded tablets (sorry Tesco!) I get good results from Finish tablets & Somerfield's, to name a couple. Hope this helps.
