Mend Daewoo Kalos Brake Light Cars

My 03 Daewood Kalos brakelight is on constantly?

Why does the brakelight stay on nearly all the time after I have checked the brake oil and engine oil is topped up, it still is on 98% of the time! Help ..!

Could be a faulty brake fluid level switch but also on most cars this light comes on when the handbrake is pulled. Check that it is going to the fully off position before doing anything else.
