Mend Engine Light Brake

is the engine mangement light coming on connected to low level brake fluid?

I had my car mot done in feb, all ok except low in brake fluid. next day engine management light appeared, i have now topped up brake fluid but light is still on. Is this connected or is the fault elsewhere. No change in cars performance...

The low brake fluid light is normally the same light as when you pull your handbrake on.But depending on the type of car it may be possible.
