Mend Techwood TWP4210 Sound Picture Stays

fault on a techwood 42 inch plasma,?

got a techwood twp4210 42 inch plasma,picture comes on with sound then the picture goes off and the sound stays on,the cable that comes from the conrol box may be to blame not sure?,if you waggle the lead about the picture comes back on and once its on the tv stays on all day,can anyone help.....

i have that tv and it done that my prob was the tubes inside the telly blue up it cost me 200 pound to get it fixed. so it just might be the tube
