Mend Homelite 330 Help Reving High Revs

Help with Homolite 330 saw reving high?

Homolite 330 saw revs very very high and does not seem to respond to any settings. It ran very well up to the time I restarted and High rev started. Starts easy. I don't keep it running long for fear fo throwing a rod.

The rubber boot under the carb, which connects the carb to the head has developed a crack and is leaking. A new boot can be had on e-bay for approx. $10.00-15.00. It's not a hard fix if your at all mechanical.
