After ages trying to get the oven light glass off to replace the bulb I finally succeeded with a combination of WD 40, tapping lightly with a meat hammer & using the gel pad that goes under a jar to stop it turning when you take the top off which gave me a good grip. Hooray! Flushed with success I was then bamboozled by the bottom oven not working at all afterwards while the top oven/grill was fine. Having seen these posts I was gobsmacked to find that re-setting the clock was the answer so thank you so much for saving my sanity. Both ovens & lights now working.

Read above that setting the clock (to any old time) would do it.

I had this problem after a power cut - you need to reset the clock time, then the oven works again. This really confused me when I bought me flat...

You have to set the clock. Basically press down the 2 far left buttons and twiddle the knob to the right time. It should then work fine!
