Mend Leak Cistern Flush

What is the problem?

There is a drip coming from the nut at the top of the cistern,originally thought it was condensation but now notice it occurs after every flush

D.I.Y, Toilets Leak Cistern Flush

Have you tried removing the nut and lining it with PTFE tape. Obviously drain cistern first :)
