How can I fix my trimmed jeans to make them look original?

I have bought a pair of jeans that I loved but since they were too long I sent them in to trimm a little bit. The lady said she knew how to do it but when I got them back they were ruind. She had cut the end and trimmed it but now they look too weired. Is there a way I can fix the fabric down to the end to make it look like it was originally? I am really disappointed because I really liked them and I can not always find pants that fit me well. Thank you
