Mend Nissan Almera 2001 Car Start

Car will not start Nissan Almera 2001?

While inserting CD player in car live wires touched and something shorted out. Fuses removed and checked all okay. Getting petrol to engine and spark to engine, engine turns but will not start. Could this be the immobilisor?
