Ford Transit 53 diesel dash problem?

i just tried it on my 2005 260 85 SWB 2.0 litre tranny, i done just what you said but spanner started to flash for a minute or two so keeping the brake and accelerator fully depresed i started the engine and took my foot off the accelerator imediatly the enginge started and the red spanner disapeared, nice 1 mate steve wigan uk

I have a red spanner lit all the time, i presume service light. , i try pressing the brake and throttle pedal, but dont work

you have to reset it by turning off ignition keys. then step on the braking pedal full down and the throttle also full down then turn the ignition on up to were the glow plugs turn on, just stay the two pedals depressed until u see the spanner magically disappear. trust me i know i work for ford new zealand. always work. cheers

Turn off Ignition

Press and hold down throttle and brake pedal

Turn on ignition continue to hold for 30 seconds then release
