Mend Bissell 2050 Not Spraying

Bissell model 2050 not spraying?

The Bissell (model 2050) carpet cleaner stopped spraying. I will not release cleaning solution from the tank. I think it has something to do with the valve on the bottom of the tank not setting correctly. Bissell staff not helpful.
