indesit cooker hood H561 1X?

Hi,
I was fixing the ducting for my hood so unplugged the extractor hood and unclipped wiring (push fit) fan to remove it. Once the ducting was done I screwed the fan back in place, clipped the wiring for the fan back on then plugged in. Extractor is not working. When I first turn it on the lights blink on then off. Then nothing. Unless I flick it off and on again at the mains which will have the lights flicker again and each time. I have checked the wiring and there doesn't seem to be any loose wire or broken cable. Any thoughts?
