offside driveshaft replaced but making a noise?

i have just fitted a new drive shaft on the offside of my Citroen berlingo but it appears not to be sat right in the carrier which doubles up as the bottom engine mount.
i have tightened the 11mm holding bolts but the second joint is rubbing on the engine mount have i done something wrong
Its an 02 1.9d mutlispace :)

Does it incorporate a support bearing? If you can compare your old shaft with your new,check diameters of joints etc,wouldn't be the first time wrong parts are supplied.
