My oil heating is coming on without me setting it. Nothing is coming up on the display unit. The only way I can turn if off is by turning the main switch off for the Horstmann so its completely off but as soon as I switch it on again, the heating will come on again. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!

to prove if it's the programmer slacken the 2 screws holding the programmer to the back plate hinge up the programmer off the back plate, does the boiler still run? If not, then it's the programmer. If it carries on running it could be one of the valves that is either stuck open or the microswitch is faulty
