Mend Peugeot Light Stopped Working

boot light on my peugeot 205 doesn't work?

the boot light on my peugeot 205 suddenly stopped working (its not the bulb) it did work till resently. new bulb, but still inop.
where is the boot light switch located on the peugeot 205, this might help.

behind the boot lid interior facia at the left side is a tilt switch.this will be badly corroded inside.it is not repairable . i by-passed this switch and fitted a rocker switch beside the interior lamp . keep the earth connectoin in the lid . cut the live going up to the lid and connect to one side of a 12 volt switch to the other side of the switch connect your lamp .
