transonic tv?

i have a transonic 68cm flatscreen model hfc-2968pf tv and it has a blue screen and a red padlock symbol in the left hand corner and nothing else works. the manual says nothing about how to unlock the tv.

i HAVE ONE OF THESE & i USE IT WITH AUSTAR. I CAN'T GET THE FULL BANNER AT THE BOTTOM TO APPEAR. IT CUTS OFF THE CHANNEL BEFORE THE TITLE OF IT & THE LAST TWO DIGITS OF THE TIME. AS WELL AS SOME OF THE INFO. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THE RATIO. IT WORKED ONCE BEFORE.

G'day Paul, I have just bought the same TV. It too has a blue screen but without a padlock. Sorry I can't help you. However you may be able to help me. The TV does not have an instruction manual or a remote control. Fortunately it gets 2 channels but I am unable to tune any more without the manual. Could you possibly send me a copy of the manual?
