fiat croma diesel cam belt broken but engine still turns over-no funny nois?
the cam belt broke, but the engine still turns over with no metallic noises, is there any hope that the cylinder head can have escaped damage, Could fitting a new cam belt be enough? cheers Mike

if there is no noise you may have escaped damage i always replace belt first then time it up turn it manualy thats what i do when i get a snapped belt come in some engins are safe engins if all ok your a winner
