Reset a call engineer state on a scantronic 9000 series alarm?
I have a scantronic 9000 series alarm that came with my house. My washing machine recently tripped the circuits and now I can't set my alarm. It has the call engineer light displayed. I guess it needs a new battery, but if someone could tell me how to at least reset the fault so that I can use it again while I look into the new batery issue I would really appreciate it.

hi try useing the default code 1234, if that works it's lost the info on the NVM chip and has to be reprogramed.
but at least it'l shut it up

Hi I have the same system but also the operators manual and engineering installation manual , I could pdf them and get the mto you, but not until perhaps Thurday as very busy today

The 9000 series is now very old and can become unstable after power problems. Try powering down mains and battery then power up battery first then mains. You may need to do this a few times. if no joy you will need a new panel. Some go doo lally and dont recover.
