Not 100% sure of this model but the chance are there isn't a ''filter'' as such in the machine, there is probably a trap system in the outlet. Wouldnt of thought that would cause that problem, usually if they are blocked the cause the machine to overfill as the pressure valve chamber that controls water levels wont work properly. Have you checked for kincked hoses etc, inlet hoses that is, red and blue usually. It could be that the pressure switch is faulty and just not sending the correct signal and asking for water. How old is the machine? Do you live in a hard water area? All contributes to wear and tear!Good luck and check the trap anyway, It'll be in the back and is very easy to spot.
