WHERE CAN I FIND A NETAHEAT FAN PT#409560?

Hi, If you are a penny pincher like me you may be interested in this solution. I found the motor makers name on the frame and contacted them. They were not helpful at all and would not supply the motor to me although they had already quoted me £9-00 appx. + vat & delivery. (£90 plus from a Potterton agent) They said they only supplied to Potterton direct.
I reccognised the design of the motor as the same as that in an old record deck that I had in the shed and knowing that the only fault could be in the windings I swapped the components over. The outcome was perfect and the boiler was left running happily ever after. Donkeys years old but still going strong.
Another solution is to keep an eye out at your local re-cycling centre for a dumped boiler.
I am not a Corgi registered fitter but am a qualified electrician so I was happy to do this and can assure you that it is not difficult to do.
