My new combination boiler has a timer which you can program the time the hot water comes on why is this facility there i understand you need it for the central heating but with a combination boiler you always have hot water when you turn the tap on
I think its because they only make two types of clock. one digital and one mechanical. the digital one gets used on both system boilers and combi-boilers saves having lots of different parts. Obviously the hot water timer just does not do anything on a combi.
