replacing thermistor to Hotpoint Mistral?

my fridge was warm and i did this, it didn't work. part cost £20 from website for termister. easy to do just need to pull top off the fridge.

got told that i should have done the freezer one. got someone in to do that but still didn't work. if you do this need to allow to defrost for 48 hours, may be best pulling back off the freezer to see if there is a buildup of ice around the thermister, if so it not pumping cool air to the fridge

now been told it's the PCB (the brains) which will cost £90.

think its easier to get a new fridge freezer.

my fridge has been a bit up and down on the temp and has got to 6 celcius for a few days. so may not be the same problem as yours keep staying at about 18 celcius at the mo
