My sons' PS2 has had the draw get stuck open and closed quite a few times either from accidentally hitting it while it was open and/or who knows what else he did to it. And since we couldn't afford to buy a new one I decided I would try to see if I could fix it. Well I fiddled with it and it worked. I hope this will help you. First you will have to unplug everything from it, turn it upside down and take all the screws out (be sure to remember which ones go where cause there are different sizes). Then while holding the whole thing still together gently flip it back over. The top should come off showing all the insides. Be careful around the front buttons that kind of stick out. On top of the container that holds the draw is a cover that has some tiny screws you will have to take off too. Remove the cover. Then this is where you just take the drawer and try to get it back on its track - it probably came off the track. You might have to play with it to make sure it gets put back on correctly but it should unless an actual piece has busted but it doesn't sound like it. When you think you have it back on its track put the lil' cover back on it and replace your screws. Then put the cover back on and hold into place while you flip it gently on its back and put all screws back into place. Then plug it back in and try it. My first time it took a few tries but believe it or not it does work. I hope this helps.
