I have a 1GB sd card by Impact that is not even showing up when plugged into a card reader. Upon examinination i noticed that the plastic casing is damaged next to one of the contacts. I was wondering if this would cause it not to read, and if there is any way to fix it.
As i can understand from the description of your problemyou have to get a new card. The money you will pay for recovering the files from this card are much more than buying a new one.

go to cclonline and purchase a new one there pittance, u can fix em to be honest unless your a magician !!
