how can i fix my dc07?

It will not pick up in the upright position although when the hose is removed from the hoover and hoovered by hand it picks up

The DC07 suction thru the brushes is supposed to cut off when the handle is upright.

May I respectfully suggest you read the manual?

does the roller bar still spin, if it does not it may need a new belt or could be a blockage between the hose inlet and base plate. This is a u shaped piece of platic tube which can be removed by just unclipping it and cvlaring out.
