Mend Diplomat WD120 Dishwasher Constantly Water

My Diplomat dishwasher constantly show the salt signal?

The dishwashers salt sign is constantly on and the salt part on the dishwasher is filled with water hence living grime on most of the items when washed inthe washer.
HELP PLEASE

Sounds a bit of a simple answer but we were amazed that ours took more than half a bag of salt; just keep pouring it in until it replaces the water in the salt well.
