Mend Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 Problem Long

How can I fix my Omega?

My Vauxhall Omega 2.5 V6 has an idol problem, it stalls if idolling for to long. When you press the accelerator from idol to quickly the car dies and needs to be restarted, however if you gradually build the revs up to 1000rpm it is fine??????????
