how can i fix the dashboard lighting on my vauxhall corsa (P reg)?

Is the brightness adjuster wheel turned up to maximum it is to the right of the steering wheel low down.

Usually if u hav an aftermarket sterio in ur corsa, part of the display is lost when u switch the sterio on, that may explain the clock not working but i aint sure about the dimmnes im afraid - But u cud try by checkin if its the correct fuze size supplying it, as a lower rated fuze would cause a lack of power.
