Mend Redring Plus 8S Fit New Shower

HOW CAN I FIT A NEW SOLENOID TO MY SHOWER?

I HAVE A REDRING PLUS 8S ELECTRIC SHOWER. THE SOLENOID IS OPEN CIRCUIT AND NEEDS REPLACING.HOW IS THE SOLENOID FITTED INTO THE STABILIZER FLOW VALVE? IT APPEARS TO BE ONLY A PUSH FIT.
