how do i change the drive belt on my dyson dc04?

See 'Dyson DC04 brush doesn't revolve'. Brush belt is an integral part of the clutch assembly and to change is a dockyard job!!

on the dyson u need to take the base cover off the dyson to remove the belt there should be about 4 - 5 screws to remove the cover then your expose the brush and belt, if you lift out the brush which should be on runners you can remove the belt, to install the belt lift out one side of the brush, instal the new belt around the metal rod first then you need to pull the brush towards your with the belt on and pop it back in the brush runner.
