Mend Kirby Ultimate G Belt Series

how do I change the belt on my Kirby Ultimate G series vacuum?

the belt is broken for the brush drive. I can't seem to remove the brush from the housing so I can replace the belt. how do I get the brush out of the housing??

Sorry, it was just jammed in there. With a little gentle persuasion, I got it out and can replace the belt..thanks
