I moved a PIR to decorate then came out of engineers mode since which the strobe has continued to flash (not a full alarm).I have disconnected the PIR but to no avail.
Reconnect the PIR because if you just disconnected at the PIR and not the control panel you will have a tamper fault. If you still wish to leave the PIR out of the system, open the control panel, work out which zone it is. Remove the two wires that go into the zone and link it out connecting both with a U shaped piece of wire, this closes the tamper loop. Close the Panel and come out of Engineer mode. If the issue was with the PIR tamper there should now be no fault showing. Then get a new PIR and replace one for one.
