How can I fix hotpoint washing machine fault F-08?

heater or thermister faultly does the machine wash and heat water? select a hot wash but use only a cold fill ie turn off the hot tap inlet, allow machine to fill. after about ten minutes carefully touch the glass it should be getting HOT if not heater O/C cure replace you can get fault codes by just typing in your search engine on the net which pointed me to heater or thermister fault
