Hi Mr Cray
It is a special industrial adhesive with a very strong vapour, which can cause problems if not properly handled with adequate ventilation. The second problem is that its air cured, which means it builds up its strength whilst drying out naturally (you can not speed it up)
And it must not be disturbed during this critical drying out stage.
The basic cleaning of the old bond must be very precise and all the contact surfaces i.e. the glass and frame need degreasing. Any grease or bits of old seal left will make the joint fail. The new bond will withstand the high oven temperatures.
The cost of the adhesive is quite high over £25 a tube.
