how can I fix my electrolux caravan fridge?

My electrolux caravan fridge works on gas but not on 240v How can I fix this

The mains voltage heater element sounds like its gone , use the 12volt heater element on mains voltage or replace the other one....that is if its a 3 way fridge .....
