how do i fix my themostat on my rovewr 414?

ive bought a new thermostat as i know iyts this that needs replacing , however i dont know where the actual thermostat is placed?

its under the inlet manifold but is a pain to do best to remove the manifold but if the car has overheated get the hedgasket checked out as they go v/easily on rovers
