Dog Grooming dryer not working?

Hi, my better half uses a Simpsons stand "blaster" (variable speed and hot or cold air during the course of her Dog Grooming business) After 5 years, it's now gone "phutt" and refuses to work....As the cost of these is around £400 I'm unwilling to consign it to the scrap heap just in case it's something daft......so here goes with diagnostic...
Heating element is fine, main power input fine but no current arriving at fan. Speed controller passes circuit test but following current path from "in" side, all seems to stop at box marked RIFA PME 271M 40/100/56B. Does this mean it's died or does this need power from another source? The PCB that this is mounted to is marked Combi 250 ISS (or 155) 5 if that helps! Willing to pay for someelse to repair if needed, just need to be pointed in the correct direction
