Daewoo DVD player drawer won't open?

MY Daewoo DVD player drawer won't open anymore. It is a newish machine (but Daewoo won't do anything). Does anyone know how to fix it. When I press the open/close button it just makes a noise, but doesn't do anything.

THERE SHOULD BE A SMALL HOLE ON THE FRONT OF THE DVD
THAT YOU CAN PUT A STRAIGHTEN PAPER CLIP THRU TO OPEN DRAWER. (ON COMPUTER DVD'S)

I have the same problem,is a DVD player about 1 year old, please let us know in case somebody knows how to fix it.

My husband and I were able to fix our APEX player by removing just 7 screws on the outer casing. Once we could see inside, it was obvious the DVD had somehow slipped out of the saddle so to speak. We repositioned the DVD and plugged the unit back in. Thankfully, we hadn't pried too much on the door. We not only fixed the player but our kids' Thomas the Train Video was no worse for the wear. my daewoo dvd drawer wont open either maybe its just a bad brand if either of you find an answer please tell me!

Penny, I have exactly the same problem with my Daewoo dvd player. It is less than a year old and I've only used it about 20 times. I've been looking online to see if anyone has an answer.
