Only one speaker works?!!?

I have the same problem! Did you fix it? it's definititely not the speakers or a wiring problem (it also occurs in the front ports using different speakers). Audio used to work ok in vista and then suddenly stopped on one speaker and the other sounds slightly distorted.

Check you have it connected normally to the green output socket and the plug is pushed fully home. If the other speaker is working then you don't need a driver. Sounds to me as though you just need to check the connections and cables to both speakers.
