Can the Ikea Fartyg light fitting be dimmed?

I have a Fartyg ceiling fitting which I would like to control with a pull switch dimmer.

Yes, I have this fixture in my bathroom and it can be dimmed.

However, removing the bulbs after they die out is tricky. Any advice on that?
