how do I locate and fix a thermostat on a 06 Ford KA, thanks?
A mechanic has taken the thermosat out and I need to get a new one to replace it? I am ok with DIY but is this an easy task or should I get a ford dealer to sort it out.
my ford ka sport keeps bubbling over after 15 mins no leaks around hoses and i reg check the oil no signs of leaks engine gets very hot. turns on heater inside car and temp light goes of on dash board what could it be cars only done 40.000 miles hoping its not the head gasket.?

Your car is still under warrantee, you should leave it to Ford, just in case it's something more serious.

Hi,very very easy job to do.
Open the bonnet look to the left of the engine on top,there is an aluminium housing with two hose,s going to it this is where the thermostat goes.
