This error means that your filter needs cleaning to allow the machine to pump out water. Open the flap at the bottom right hand corner on the front of the machine and unscrew the cover. Water may come out of the machine at this point so put a bowl under it first. Remove the filter, clean and replace. Machine should work now. Mostly this will be a problem after washing with pet hair on or tumbledrying fluff.
