how to get computer to find usb ports?

reinstaled windows xp now printer and speakers dont work tried all troubleshootin still doesn't work

check in control panel in system/hardware and see if your usb is shown

Have you installed the driver for the motherboard? You should be able to download it from the manufacturers website.
